Porec is a city of culture and fun, pleasant sun and warm sea. It is located on the west coast of Istria, the largest Croatian peninsula. Porec has 37 km of coastline, which extends from the valley of the Mirna River in the north to the deep Limfjord in the south. Clean beaches, bays and numerous islands are a symbol of Porec. The largest and most beautiful of all Porec islands, Saint Nicholas, is surrounded by the charming port of Porec. The round tower on the island of St. Nicholas, built in 1402, is one of the oldest lighthouses on the Adriatic (no longer used).
